The Valley of a 1000 Hills Tourist Route which includes curio shops, a crocodile far, pubs, restaurants, and of course, the magnificent scenery. The PheZulu Safari Park offers an insight into the Zulu culture, and there are daily performances of Zulu dancing. The Kloof Gorge and Kranskloof Nature Reserve offer trails and spectacular views, as well as picnic sites and an Interpretive Centre. Calmswood is conveniently situated on the Comrades Marathon route, as well as that of the Amashovashova Cycle Race. There is also easy access to the Inanda Dam for those interested in the Duzi Canoe Marathon.
