The Family Home:

If you want to taste and enjoy a touch of Europe Michèle & Michel will warmly welcome you for a dinner with their family. You will discover a range of home-made French and European meals, made from fresh products of the farm (trout from the Dam, fresh vegetables and fruits from the farm’s fields, home-made cheese, jams, mustards, bread, tarts, etc). 2 bedrooms with private bathrooms will accommodate you if requested (1 x Family Room which sleeps 4 and 1 x 2 sgl beds bedroom which sleeps 2)

    

Mrs. Watson’s Cottage

Mrs. Watson was one of the first settlers in the Byrne Valley. This authentic cottage still has original floors, doors, windows and ceilings from local Yellowwood and Sneezewood. The cottage is furnished with some antique furniture, this will give you a taste of the 19th Century atmosphere.

The cottage has 2 bedrooms (1x Dbl bed + 1 x 2 sgl beds) with 1 bathroom. Bedrooms are equipped with electric heaters (extra blankets available) in fresh and cold seasons. The main lounge has an open-fire place which will also keep you warm during the cool evenings. The cottage may be used as Self-catering (equipped kitchen + dinning room + lounge) or as B&B & D (Meals are served in the Family house).

Braai facility is available in a private garden.

From the Cottage you have an easy access to walk into the indigenous forest and to the “Garden of Eden” (an ideal place for relaxing, meditating or reading).
