LOCATION & ATTRACTIONS

We offer a relaxing and inviting getaway in the village of Hilton, (10 mins from Pietermaritzburg CBD).  The southern end of the Midlands Meander arts and crafts route is on our doorstep; we are on the Southern KwaZulu–Natal Birding Route and just an hour away from both Durban and the Drakensberg mountain range.  We are ideally situated for weddings and events held at Hilton College and St. Anne’s, as well as for the businessman and holidaymaker.  You will never be short of things to do and see.  Ask us for advice and let us point you in the direction of some of those secret jewels we have found.

ACCOMMODATION

Guest Suite (sleeps 2 in twin beds

GUEST SUITE (SLEEPS 2 IN TWIN BEDS + 1 ON SLEEPER COUCH)

Our tastefully furnished Suite is situated on the ground floor of the main house with private entrance; the en suite (shower no bath) bedroom has twin beds with electric blankets, additionally there is a double sleeper couch in the spacious lounge.  The lounge contains a fully-equipped kitchenette, TV (channels 1,2,3 & eTV), iron, ironing-board, hair-dryer, safe and heaters.  Complimentary tea, coffee and home-made crunchies are provided for your enjoyment.  French doors open onto your private garden with direct access to our stream in the woods.  The Longcrested and Crowned Eagles are common visitors, with numerous forest birds and small woodland animals.

There is secure parking with electronic access.

BREAKFAST

Breakfast is served on the upper storey of the main house with balcony overlooking the beautiful valley.  In addition to a full English breakfast we offer a selection of cereals, muesli, yoghurt, breads, preserves, honey, juices and fresh fruit.

Being small (we can only accommodate 1 family at a time) enables us to take great care of our guests providing them with an exceptional level of personal service and attention to detail.

We are very flexible  -  if you have special needs, we will try to cater for them.
