Woodcroft is set in 8 hectares of rolling hillside, with 500 metres of frontage on the Lions River. The setting is uniquely attractive in our secret valley, and in spring the gardens are a riot of colour from massed azaleas.
Refurbished to a very high standard for family self-catering, Woodcroft lies next to a succession of rapids and pools on the Lions River. An atmosphere of peace and privacy is disturbed only by the bark of a bushbuck ram, birdsong, or the babble of a trout stream.
AttractionsWoodcroft is a central starting point from which to explore KwaZulu-Natal, or a place to relax and recuperate from stress. The energetic can explore the Meander, (which has Woodcroft at its heart,) run the Comrades or Meander marathons, swim in the Midmar Mile, canoe the Duzi marathon, enjoy Victorian Pietermaritzburg, Art in the Park or the Royal Agricultural Show, dash off to the Berg, Battlefields or Beach. The ideal is rest, gentle walks, fly-fishing, or swimming in the river, or simply to relax.
