Description

Tout en Haut is a fully equipped self catering cottage which sleeps 8 people. The cottage has 4 bedrooms  with 3 bathrooms. It is beautifully appointed and very well equipped. Linen is provided, but guests must    bring their own towels.

The rooms are as follows:

The main bedroom en suite has a queen size bed and a private lounge area with double sliding doors opening up onto the garden with beautiful views of the Champagne Valley. The second bedroom, with a bay window overlooking the garden has a king size bed and the third bedroom has two twin beds.  The fourth bedroom leads off from the main bedroom and is suitable for children and shares the en suite bathroom.

The second and third bedrooms share a full bathroom with a bath. There is a third full bathroom with a shower which has an outside entrance.Extra comforts include heating in all rooms and a gas heater in the lounge area. Maid service available on request.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge/freezer, a microwave, and gas/electric combination stove. The lounge has a TV and decoder. Guests are welcome to bring their own cards and pair them with the decoder for the duration of their stay.

There is a built in outside braai area, as well as a portable Weber braai in the Wendy House. The Wendy house is available for guests wishing to bring mountain bikes or hiking equipment.

Directions

From Johannesburg: A) Scenic Route: CAUTION: Do not follow this route in wet or freezing conditions Johannesburg to Harrismith on N3. At Harrismith turn right onto N5 towards BETHLEHEM/BLOEMFONTEIN. Proceed for ± 5km; turn left onto the R712 QWA-QWA/BERGVILLE road. Proceed for ± 10km. Turn left again on the BERGVILLE/OLIVIERSHOEK PASS road. Continue past Sterkfontein dam, down Oliviershoek Pass, straight through Bergville and onto Winterton. Opposite the Engen garage, turn right onto the R600 CENTRAL BERG road. *****Travel 25 km past Thokozisa Centre, Champagne Sports, Cedarwood Shopping Centre and turn right towards the Drakensberg Sun. Travel +- 3 km, notify security at the boom, pass through the boom, turn left into Yellowwood, up the hill to nr 23. Address; 23 Yellowwood Drive Bergview. B) Freeway Route: Johannesburg to Van Reenen's Pass on the N3. Take the first glide off after the Tugela Toll Plaza, which is at the bottom of Van Reenen's Pass. Turn left for ± 4 kms on the N11 and then turn right towards WINTERTON onto the R600. You will cross over the N3 concrete highway. At the T-junction (R74), turn left towards Winterton. In Winterton, opposite the Engen garage, turn right onto the R600 CENTRAL BERG road. ***** See above From Durban: A) Along the N3, pass Shell Ultra City and take the Exit 194, Winterton/Bergville/Colenso (R74) glide off. Turn left and proceed for 20km to Winterton. Opposite the Engen garage, turn left onto the R600 CENTRAL BERG road. **** GPS Coordinates: Latitude 29o 0' 51.6"S Longitude 29o 25' 6.33" E
